Here are answers to common questions about digital files from Sutton Studios.
 Can I get a picture for my website/Facebook page?
Yes. Your sitting includes one, complimentary, screen-resolution file for use on your personal website, blog, and social networking sites.
Additional files are available for $50 each, or 6 for $250. All images will include a tasteful, Sutton Studios watermark (like the photos on this page).
Can I purchase high-res files and make my own prints?
No, and here's why. Sutton Studios employs traditional, service-oriented portrait studio practices, with the expectation that we will send our clients home with fine-art-quality prints to enjoy for years to come.
The Sutton Studios brand is based on a particular look, which we strive diligently to preserve. We consider every Sutton Studios print "out in the world" an ambassador for our studio. Every print that leaves here has therefore been personally inspected and approved by David, and every print is guaranteed by Sutton Studios.
To that end, we offer extraordinary customer service and extensive retouching services. We use an exclusive photo lab that adheres to exacting processing standards and uses only the finest Kodak Endura papers. In addition, we archive and manage your images in perpetuity.
We don't, however, sell high-res digital files for others to print.
 But I got all the files from my wedding. . .
Wedding photographers customarily charge very high session fees up front, as part of a complete package that may include delivery of the digital image files (so clients can reproduce inexpensive copies for all the friends and relatives who want a picture of the bride and groom).
Sutton Studios, by contrast, charges relatively little for sittings, which places the burden on David to create compelling images that we hope our clients will find irresistible. Clients are under no obligation to buy any prints. When they do, they know they will be getting a final product produced to exacting standards, handled every step of the way by professionals, and to which David is proud to add his signature.
