David Sutton has been bringing his particular brand of portraiture to happy clients in the Chicago area for over a decade and a half. David photographs all types of special individuals - animal and human. That includes dogs, cats, dogs who think they're cats, moms, dads, babies, brothers, sisters, wives, husbands - and even the occasional alligator.

Carefully directed by David, your dog gets to be its natural self, whether that's curious, bold, sassy, funny or shy. Your pets are free to explore, interact and express themselves while David watches, waiting for the moments that tell stories. David's photographs then artfully translates these instants into timeless works that forever capture his subjects' unique characters and personalities.

Getting from pet to portrait.
Photo sessions usually take 20 to 45 minutes, and we'll tell you how to prepare before you come. (A $50 nonrefundable deposit is due at scheduling time.)
A week or two after your session, when you come back for your Print Ordering Consultation, David or an artist associate will sit down with you and review the photos from your session. Deciding on your favorites might be the hardest part. We'll help you select images and also give you presentation suggestions for them. When your portraits are ready, you'll take home a
unique, valuable work of art with you and your pet in the spotlight.

We give special attention to every detail of your print order. Each image is carfefully prepared in our studio, and then custom-printed to exacting standards by our professional lab.
